Room attendant

Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable, hygienic environment. Duties include making beds, changing linen, dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitising bathrooms. Replenish towels, toiletries and refreshments, respond politely to guest requests, and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.

• At least two years of room attendant experience, ideally in a 4- or 5-star hotel.

• Valid Pre-Departure Course Certificate.

• English communication skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe storage and disposal procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties and lift heavy items safely.

• Ability to follow procedures and work independently or within a team.

• Positive attitude and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

• Annual salary of €12,168.

• Full-time employment in St Julian’s, Malta.
